Songlong Waterfall

The natural cave beside the waterfall is called “Songlong Rock.”
The main body is made of sand rock created by thermal expansion and contraction, weathering, and erosion.
The ceiling yields hanging stalactites.
Part of the uneven ceiling is due to “differential erosion”, and is where the swallows nest.
Numerous swallows occasionally fly in and forage around the cave, which is a spectacular scene to see.
After tens of thousands of years of headward erosion, cutting, and penetration, waterfalls, rock caves, streams,
and huge rock formations are formed along the Jia Zou Liao Stream, presenting magnificent and spectacular scenes of nature.

Songlong Rock Waterfall is well renowned as the "Best Scenery of Sun-Link-Sea",
owing to its majestic and beautiful scenery. In the rainy season, the waterfall tumbles, splashes, and thunders, creating countless scenes and atmospheres.
It is here that the surrounding big trees and quiet valleys form a secluded and mysterious land full of vitality and biodiversity.
