Longlin Waterfall

The natural rock caves beside the waterfall are where swallows used to nest.
The environment is so quiet that the swallows seem to practice Buddhism here, so it was called “swallow abbey.”
As there is less precipitation in the upstream area in autumn and winter, the waterfall is dry and the rock walls are exposed the outside.
In the rainy seasons of spring and summer, water splashes down along the rock walls with their scale-like texture.
Therefore, it is called Longlin (dragon scale) Waterfall.

Taiwan Rhododendron, Viburnum plicatum var. formosanum, Hydrangea angustipetala Hayata,
and Taiwan Helwingia bloom in turn in different seasons on the mountain walls of the waterfall.
Swinhoe's brown frogs occasionally croak in the stream.
There are different scenes in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
Why not come to enjoy the priceless quietness with eyes closed?
